IMPORT EXPORT CODE

IE Code is issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India. Import Export Code is essential in businesses involving export or import of goods and services in India. IE Code neither requires any kind of returns filling nor any further procedural compliance. IE Code is required in dealing with customs authorities/banks for importing & exporting goods and making or receiving payment to/from international vendors.

Authorized dealer code is required for customs clearance while exporting goods outside India and can be obtained from the bank. Applying for IE Code is a one-time process that requires no renewal. Hence, IE Code is Life Time registration.

Procedure of IMPORT EXPORT CODE

Go to the Website of Directorate General of Foreign Trade.

Go on Services tab.

Enter your PAN number

Enter the your details (As per PAN Card)

Enter your mobile number to get (OTP) verification process.

Fill and Update Application Entity Details

Add Branch Details

Fill the Director/Partner details.

Upload Scanned Copies of the Essential Documents.

Payment of fees
